  14. I'm having a really hard time finding places to buy _small quantities_
  15. of chips... basically I'm looking for Motorola microprocessors (68k)
  16. and/or any 8051 microcontrollers (especially ones with EEPROM and
  17. UARTs built in).  Actually, I'll settle for any chips that are both
  18. cheap (0-10 dollars) and well documented/widely used.

  20. The closest I've come to finding what I'm looking for is Marshall,
  21. where they sell the Atmel AT89C2051 (8051-type microcontroller with
  22. flash ROM and UART).... unfortunately, they have a minimum of $30 on
  23. every order...

  25. I'd really appreciate any info on places to buy this kind of stuff.
